Today biofuel supporters are in Kansas City, Missouri to call on the EPA to make more ethanol and other biofuels available to consumers in next year’s fuel mix. The EPA held a public hearing today on the 2017 and 2018 proposed volumes under the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS), and around 140 people testified about what the RFS means to them and the country.
Fuels America hosted a press conference at the location featuring leading ethanol supporters who are calling for the EPA to follow the law of the legislation and put renewable fuel volumes back to statue levels. Speakers included:
